We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair. Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity. Tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that's long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today's electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators.

We've built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale.

We're scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide. Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems.

We're looking for a Lead Brand & Creative Designer to help define and build a brand that stands out in a category that is too often predictable. This role exists to shape the visual and creative expression of our company — turning strategy into bold, memorable work that resonates deeply with the people we serve.

You will combine first-principles thinking with AI-first execution, using modern creative tools and experimentation to move faster and push further than traditional brand teams. In your first year, you will help establish a distinctive, generational brand presence — crafting high-impact campaigns, defining creative standards, and creating work that cuts through noise and connects with specific communities and cohorts that matter most to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Define a generational brand language: Set a bold, creative direction that knows when to challenge and disrupt — and when to be informative, considered, and clear. Build a brand system that flexes across moments and channels to capture the emotions of our audiences.
  • Create work that people remember: Deliver standout creative across launches, campaigns, web, and product moments that capture attention and build emotional connection with specific audiences and communities.
  • Build an AI-first creative practice: Use modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production — pushing the boundaries of what a small, high-impact creative team can produce.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Product, and Growth: Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure creative work directly supports business outcomes — from brand awareness to product adoption.
  • Think long and short term: Understand priorities and how they play out in the immediate, near-term, and long-term. Balance foundational brand building with fast-turn moments, making smart trade-offs, sequencing work, and keeping the creative roadmap moving.
  • Raise the creative bar across the company: Establish strong creative standards, influence taste and craft, and help the organisation consistently produce work that feels bold, coherent, and world-class.
  • Be a creative vision support & brand custodian: Act as a brand guardian — challenging the content, context, and creative that comes out from our brand, and ensuring everything stays aligned to our standards, strategy, and audience.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • In house experience shaping or evolving a strong brand: You have played a key role in building a brand identity, campaign platform, or creative system that meaningfully influenced how a company is perceived.
  • AI-first creative mindset: Practical pro-active experience in bringing new AI-driven tools into the business with proven track record that accelerates concepting, design, storytelling, or production.
  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative craft: Evidence of bold, memorable work across brand, campaigns, and digital experiences that shows originality and a strong creative point of view.
  • Deep audience understanding: Work is proven to be targeted at specific audiences and cohorts, with the correct channel mix that has meaningfully improved core brand metrics, such as share of voice.
  • Experience working in fast-moving environments: Background in startups, scale-ups, or high-growth teams where you have shipped work quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality - always being hands on, co-creating briefs, challenging status quo and taking risks.
  • First-principles thinker: Comfortable questioning assumptions, reframing briefs, and inventing new approaches rather than defaulting to conventional brand playbooks.

Really Desirable:

  • Framer experience: Ability to design and ship high-quality web experiences directly in Framer - with, of course, AI accelerated development.
  • Analytics and tracking: Ability to integrate work into tracking systems, such as Google Analytics and / or equivalent.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you're excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we're looking for.
