The opportunity

As a Critical Incident affiliate clinician, you will provide on-site group and individual critical incident support to TELUS Health's corporate clients within the UK and Ireland, on an as‑needed basis. You will be working as an independent contractor based on your ability to accept assignments.

How you will make an impact

  • You will travel on‑site to deliver critical incident response to groups of employees and individuals following a traumatic workplace event.
  • You will also deliver virtual critical incident response to groups of employees and individuals for the same, where agreed.
  • You will manage related administration as required by TELUS Health’s Critical Incident department.

Requirements

  • Counselling qualification to BACP/IACP accreditation level or with equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Current membership of a recognised professional body – BACP, IACP, UKCP, HCPC or equivalent.
  • Training in Psychological First Aid.
  • Experience of delivering on‑site trauma support following critical incidents.
  • Professional indemnity insurance of at least ÂŁ1,000,000.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • The ability to act professionally and represent TELUS Health appropriately on site with customer organisations.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience is desirable.
  • Training in trauma focused interventions such as Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and working with PTSD clients is desirable.
