A Professional Services organisation is seeking a Controls Payment Systems Consultant on a contract basis to work on a project with a leading Payment Systems client. The Controls Payment Systems Consultant must be able to work onsite in London 3 times a week.

Experience Required:

  • Support with build of control libraries
  • Tech controls
  • Payment scheme controls or technology infrastructure controls
  • Documenting requirements and controls
  • Regulatory or risk standards (ORX) or cyber standards (NIST)

Objective:

  • Build a control library for a payment systems company
  • Document the Controls Library in the agreed Excel template, recording required information including the Control Objective(s), Expected Controls, and mapping to Internal Policy/Control Frameworks/Regulation. For Technology related Domains this would include alignment to their Technology Control Framework (TCF) where applicable.
  • Through interview, review of supporting documentation provided by Control Owners, or other suitable means, document the Control Instances in place to meet the expectations/requirements of the Controls Library. This would be documented in the agreed Excel template. For each Control Instance, all data required by the Controls Management Standard to be identified and captured (eg, including but not limited to Control Name, Control Description, Control Owner, Control Criticality, Control Type, Control Frequency, Control Method, etc.).
  • Ensure any Key Control Instances identified within the Excel template are subject to review and challenge to ensure that the number of key controls is not overstated and to enable VLL to remain focused on its most critical controls.
