We are hiring on behalf of a client for a Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Consultant to support a complex transformation within an engineered services organisation. This role is suited to an experienced D365 F&O SCM professional who is comfortable working in bespoke warehouse environments, translating engineered operational workflows into effective system design, and collaborating closely with business, engineering, and operational stakeholders.

Role Overview: The role combines functional SCM expertise with the ability to map bespoke operational processes, engineered workflows, and non-standard stock/asset management considerations into D365 F&O.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead SCM discovery and solution design across bespoke operational workflows
  • Configure and deploy SCM functionality, including:
    • Inventory & Warehouse Management (Advanced WMS)
    • Procurement & Sourcing
    • Materials & Asset Tracking
    • Production / Assembly (light)
    • Master Planning (as required)
  • Map engineered material flows, non-standard units of measure, and handling requirements into D365
  • Translate business requirements into functional design specifications
  • Coordinate integrations with operational systems (MES, telemetry, scales, LIMS, etc.)
  • Support data migration, cutover and test cycles (SIT/UAT)
  • Support go-live and post-go-live stabilisation
  • Train and onboard operational users in evolving environments
  • Work with Business Transformation, Engineering, Warehouse Ops and Finance stakeholders

Required Experience:

  • At least 5+ years D365 F&O experience (SCM/WMS focus)
  • Strong experience in:
    • Advanced warehouse management
    • Non-standard or engineered material flows
    • Complex BOMs / kits / refurb / returns or asset lifecycle
  • Exposure to sectors with engineered or regulated handling processes (e.g., industrial services, recycling, heavy equipment, utilities, O&M, environmental, manufacturing)
  • Experience with bespoke operational workflows rather than purely vanilla D365 deployments
  • Comfortable working with both business users and technical teams
