We are looking for someone who can support our products in laboratories across the UK, Europe and the US. This role will require a week-long US trip once every 2 months.

General duties to include:
- Ensure that customers receive world-class technical support delivered in a timely manner
- Customer site visits for equipment fault diagnosis & repair
- Manage spare part inventory & request orders are placed as & when required
- Working with manufacturing teams when additional support or technical information is needed
- Testing & contributing on new products to the product development teams
- Covering support email & telephone enquiries when required
- Quality & functional checks of products prior to sale when required
- Setting up laptops / installing software ready to be used with the equipment
Education and skills:
- Experience with equipment repairs both in-house and at customer locations
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with direct Customer Technical Support
- Good listening & communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
- Full Driving license and UK passport/Visa for US travel
- Competent with computers, operating systems, & major software products
- Discretion & confidentiality
