We are seeking a highly experienced E-commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist to take ownership of the development, management and ongoing optimisation of our ecommerce websites. This role combines hands-on website management with digital marketing strategy, ensuring the website is continuously maintained, improved and optimised to drive traffic and increase online sales.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the websites, while using SEO and PPC strategies to increase visibility, attract qualified traffic, and maximise conversions. The ideal candidate is both technical and commercially minded, capable of managing website performance, while ensuring data and digital marketing channels improve performance and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • SEO & Growth Strategy
    • Develop and implement ROI-focused SEO strategies across multiple brand websites.
    • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search opportunity mapping.
    • Optimise website structure, product pages, and content for search engines.
    • Monitor technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and page performance.
    • Create and manage link-building and authority development strategies.
  • Paid Advertising & Traffic Growth
    • Manage and optimise PPC campaigns, including search engine advertising and paid social.
    • Use paid advertising to drive targeted traffic and support online sales growth.
    • Monitor campaign performance and optimise for ROI.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
    • Analyse website performance and user behaviour to identify opportunities to improve conversions.
    • Optimise product pages, landing pages, and the checkout journey to increase sales.
    • Test and implement improvements to website layout, content, and user experience.
    • Use data insights to increase average order value and overall online revenue.
  • Website Builds & Launches
    • Manage the development, structure, and ongoing improvement of the company’s e-commerce websites.
    • Oversee day-to-day website maintenance, updates, and functionality.
    • Manage product listings, categories, landing pages, and website content.
    • Coordinate and work with designers, developers or external partners on site improvements and new features.
    • Ensure SEO best practices are implemented from build through launch.
    • Define site architecture, keyword mapping, and SEO-friendly content structures.
    • Ensure websites remain secure, fast, and fully operational.
  • Performance & Reporting
    • Track website and campaign performance using analytics and SEO platforms.
    • Monitor traffic, leads, conversion rates, and e-commerce sales performance.
    • Provide clear performance reports and insights to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in e-commerce, SEO or digital marketing.
  • Proven experience launching and scaling new websites from the ground up.
  • Experience managing multiple websites or brands simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, site architecture, and website performance optimisation.
  • Stay current with SEO trends and developments, especially those involving AI, search behaviour changes and Google algorithm updates.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
  • Experience with website maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on ROI and measurable results.
