This is an exciting opportunity to join Telford & Wrekin Council's Transport Team who are responsible for the delivery of safe, reliable, sustainable, and innovative value for money transport services to the residents of Telford. This role is 20 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days training.
We are looking for passenger assistants who want to help make a difference to the lives of people in Telford and Wrekin through providing specialist transport to passengers, including children with special educational needs, adults with disabilities, social care clients and members of the general public accessing bespoke transport services.
Passenger Assistants support clients and their families and work as part of a team with a driver to ensure the safety, comfort and dignity of all passengers at all times. Successful candidates will possess good communication skills (both written and verbal) and organisational skills, be excellent team players and have a positive and flexible attitude.
