Overview
Mount Pleasant Primary School, part of The Severn Bridges Multi‑Academy Trust, seeks a dedicated and suitably experienced Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic staff team. The role involves supporting children academically and pastorally, working with key children with additional needs and with special educational needs, particularly language and communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons to children with additional and special educational needs.
- Lead the class during certain times such as PPA (e.g., manage the class, facilitate learning activities).
- Assist with communication support and help pupils manage emotions in a proactive, positive manner.
- Collaborate with a creative and forward‑thinking team and share new ideas and enthusiasm.

- Understanding and experience of working in primary or early years settings.
