We are looking for someone who shares our high expectations and brings kindness, energy and a thoughtful approach to their work. Your role Working alongside our nursery team, you will:



  • Plan and provide engaging, play-based experiences that reflect children's interests and support their learning across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Build secure relationships with children, supporting their wellbeing, independence and individual care needs.

  • Use observations and assessment to understand children's development and plan meaningful next steps.

  • Support communication and language through responsive interactions, stories, songs and play.

  • Adapt provision to include all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities and those learning English as an additional language.

  • Work closely with parents, carers and colleagues, sharing information and celebrating children's progress.

  • Maintain a safe, stimulating environment and follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures.What we are looking for

  • A recognised Level 3 early years qualification suitable for this role. Are you a caring and enthusiastic early years practitioner who enjoys helping young children learn through play? Our Governing Board is seeking a qualified Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join our team from January 2027., Experience of working with young children in an early years or educational setting.

  • A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS, including the importance of learning through play.

  • A warm, patient and inclusive approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
