Overview

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to support learning across the school and to lead whole-class teaching when required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to plan, deliver, and assess learning activities
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and events

Requirements / Qualifications

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
  • Confidence in leading learning and managing a classroom
