Overview
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to support learning across the school and to lead whole-class teaching when required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, adapting learning to meet individual needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers to plan, deliver, and assess learning activities
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and events
Requirements / Qualifications
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
- Confidence in leading learning and managing a classroom
- A commitment to inclusion, teamwork, and continuous improvement
