As a Fostering Recruitment Officer, you will play a key role in our ambitious and forward-thinking Fostering Service. Responsibilities
- Leading on the recruitment of foster carers for Telford & Wrekin Council, ensuring children can stay local wherever possible.
- Building strong connections with the local community, public services, and businesses to raise awareness of fostering.
- Ensuring that anyone enquiring about fostering has a positive and consistent experience throughout the process.
- Supporting people through the assessment process to become approved foster carers, underpinned by our recruitment strategy.
- Assisting with event planning and delivery, and working closely with the Marketing and Communications Officer to maximize recruitment opportunities.
