Telford & Wrekin Music delivers and supports high-quality music education for schools and young people across the borough. We are seeking to appoint highly motivated and experienced specialist music tutors to join our successful and committed team. Opportunities range from individual instrumental tuition to whole class music curriculum delivery, ensemble leadership and project work.

Hours are offered in response to demand from parents and schools with some evening and weekend work required where necessary. The ability to travel between schools and other venues is essential. Successful candidates will be proficient in their specialist instrument to diploma level and have previous teaching experience. They will ideally be able to teach a range of instruments in various formats.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS and regular Safeguarding training is provided. Posts working with children or vulnerable groups will be subject to an appropriate criminal records check. It is an offence to apply for a role that involves engaging in regulated activity with children and adults in vulnerable circumstances if you are barred from working with one or both of these groups.
