Are you looking for an opportunity to use your significant Local Authority or Education and SEND experience and develop your career within a well-regarded SEND Team in an award winning and top performing Local Authority? Have you got the ability to build strong working relationships with system stakeholders that will ensure we can meet the needs of children and Young People with SEND and comply with our statutory responsibilities? This could be the opportunity for you!

We are strengthening our statutory SEND Team by appointing two additional full time SEND Coordinators, to ensure our current operational performance is maintained. The SEND Coordinator is responsible for co‑ordinating work processes including requests for, and reviews of, an Educational Health Care Plan. The job purpose is to promote integrated working through co‑ordinating assessment, planning and review processes for children with Special Educational Needs Disability and to engage other teams to contribute to assessment and planning as appropriate. Information relating to the process as well as specific information to individual cases. There will be a need for sensitive communication with parents, schools and other agencies.
