It is essential that candidates are SIA trained with an in‑date door supervisor badge. The post holder will carry out a range of security‑based duties across Southwater and the wider borough. These duties will include:

  • Patrolling Southwater and Telford Town Park
  • Engaging and dealing with security issues to include ASB
  • Offering support to other agencies
  • Being a first point of contact for members of the public in the area
  • Carrying out duties related to the multi‑story car park, including dealing with customer enquiries and general maintenance of any car park equipment
  • Live monitoring of the Borough's CCTV, providing real‑time updates for both the Police and ASB teams, and performing related activities such as downloading footage
