We are seeking a proactive and resilient Neighbourhood Enforcement Officer to join our dedicated team. This is a highly visible frontline role where you will work across the borough to enforce parking regulations and support environmental crime investigations—helping to create safer, cleaner communities for everyone.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out high-visibility patrols across neighbourhoods, car parks, and key locations.
  • Enforce legislation relating to parking and environmental crime.
  • Investigate issues such as fly-tipping, nuisance parking, dog foul offences.
  • Issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and gather evidence for legal proceedings.
  • Work closely with Town and Parish Councils, partner agencies, and local businesses.
  • Engage with residents to offer advice and resolve concerns relating to enforcement services.
  • Support Household Recycling Centres through site patrols and compliance checks.

Key Information:

The role involves lone working, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and responding to potentially challenging situations.
