Would you like to be part of an adventure in Telford Town Park? Come and join the team at Telford's High Rope Course, Sky Reach and help people build confidence, have fun and experience something new. Previous climbing or high ropes experience would be an advantage; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate. This is a casual post so hours vary from week to week and will include some weekend work so we need someone who can be flexible with their working patterns.
Main duties are:
- Ensure facilities are fully operational and available for public and school use
- Ensure the highest standards of health & safety, basic maintenance and security are provided at all times.
- Equip and fit participants with Personal Protective Equipment correctly e.g. harnesses and helmets and ensure their personal clothing is suitable.
- Supervise the high ropes course ensuring all participants are safely conducting themselves assisting participants where necessary and carry out emergency drills in accordance with the Operational Procedures.
- Give Sky Reach participants appropriate instruction and support during their session and carry out rescues in line with training and competence.
- Administer first aid or refer as required.
- Carry out additional duties associated with arrivals and departures.
- To undergo regular training and monitoring to ensure compliance with industry standards and programme demands.
