Following the well-deserved appointment of our current Headteacher to a new role as a Local Leader of Primary Education, the Governing Board is delighted to seek an exceptional, forward-thinking leader to carry our Church of England school forward. About Our School
St George's Church of England Primary School and Nursery is an oversubscribed, larger than average, thriving and inclusive Christian school, currently educating around 570 children. Although officially a 2.5 form entry school, we operate as a three-form entry, enabling us to offer a broad, rich curriculum and strong pastoral care across all year groups. We are incredibly proud of the high standards our children achieve. Outcomes for disadvantaged pupils place us in the top 25% nationally, reflecting our determination to ensure that every child – no matter their background – has the opportunity to excel. About the Role
As our next Headteacher, you will lead a committed and talented team of professionals and work closely with an engaged Governing Board to maintain and further strengthen the school's culture of high expectations and joyful learning. You will have the opportunity to build on our strong foundations while shaping an ambitious vision for the school's future.
