The predicted salary is between 10 - 11 £ per hour.
Telford & Wrekin Council Apprenticeship Rate £10.99 per hour for the first 12 months then national minimum wage for age thereafter and where higher. We are looking for someone who is looking to develop skills in marketing and communications. Travel Telford is part of Telford & Wrekin Council's transport offer covering all forms of travel including buses, walking, cycling, behaviour change, road safety education, street works, passenger transport and strategic network development. We are looking for someone to help grow the brand across the borough.
In working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Multi-Channel Marketer, you will be involved in all aspects of communications including:
- Social media posts and content generation
- Photography
- Videography
- Creating marketing materials
- Updating website information
- Creating media relations
You will also undertake up to one day per week of apprenticeship training. In this dynamic role, there will be a focus to promote and deliver various active travel initiatives. The successful candidate will need to have a creative personality and a willingness to learn. The role will involve both school-based and community-based activities, which could involve some weekend and out of hours working.
The role will predominantly be based within the Travel Telford team to build knowledge and experience, but there will also be occasions where the candidate will work with the Corporate Communications Team to develop a wider understanding of the organisation and be involved in corporate projects.
