At The Linden Centre, we work with pupils who face significant barriers to learning due to their social, emotional and mental health needs. Many of our learners have experienced challenges that make mainstream education difficult, and they need adults who can understand, guide and support them to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

We are seeking a highly skilled Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting learners with SEMH. You will be:

  • Experienced in working with children and young people who display challenging behaviours.
  • Calm, consistent and able to build trusting, positive relationships.
  • Skilled at supporting learning in creative and adaptive ways to meet individual needs.
  • Resilient, reflective and committed to inclusion.
  • A team player who can work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and other professionals.
