Ercall Wood Academy is looking to appoint a Senior Science Technician to join our excellent team.
Responsibilities
The Science department is keen to continue to enjoy our very positive rating amongst our pupils; Triple Science is very popular amongst our GCSE students. We are committed to providing enjoyable lessons that engage pupils and reflect the enthusiasm for the subject. A core part of the science learning experience at Ercall Wood Academy is centred around high quality practical tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing that valuable experience.
Qualifications and experience
Previous experience of working in schools would be an advantage but is not essential. A background in laboratory work may also assist your application. We provide a high level of support and professional development and can offer a positive, friendly and welcoming working environment. A key strength of the Science department is its teamwork and collaborative approach to planning and development. The department also benefits from direct links to STEM CPD.
