Responsibilities:
- We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, motivated and enthusiastic teacher to lead our Art, Design & Technology Faculty.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist in Design & Technology or Food & Nutrition to shape a vibrant, creative curriculum and drive excellence in teaching, learning, and student outcomes across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The successful candidate will combine exceptional subject expertise, innovative thinking, and strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire both staff and students.
- You will lead a committed team and play a key role as a member of the Extended Leadership Team, contributing to whole school priorities and improvement.
Applicants must:
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, specialising in Design & Technology or Food & Nutrition.
- Have an ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
- Have high expectations of students' learning, progress and behaviour.
- Be able to deliver an inspiring, ambitious and well sequenced curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
- Bring creativity, innovation and commitment to promoting enterprise, problem solving and practical skills.
- Be committed to contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, trips, and clubs.
