It is essential that candidates are SIA trained with an in‑date door supervisor badge. The post holder will carry out a range of security‑based duties across Southwater and the wider borough. These duties will include patrolling Southwater and Telford Town Park, engaging and dealing with security issues to include ASB, offering support to other agencies and being a first point of contact for members of the public in the area. The post holder will carry out duties related to the multi‑story car park, including dealing with customer enquiries and general maintenance of any car park equipment. The postholder may also be tasked with live monitoring of the Borough's CCTV, providing real‑time updates for both the Police and ASB teams, and performing related activities such as downloading footage.
