Level 3 Teaching Assistants x 2 with SEN experience. Fixed term to August 2026, 16.5 and 16 hours per week respectively - Term time only.

The work pattern of the first post is 8.45am - 3.15pm Monday and Tuesday and 8.45am - 12.15pm on Wednesday. The work pattern for the second post is 12.15 - 3.15pm on Wednesday and 8.45am - 3.15pm on Thursday and Friday.

The Governors and staff of this highly successful school are seeking to appoint two experienced, effective and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistants with SEN experience. There may be an opportunity for this to be one post.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicants will have demonstrated the ability to positively impact on infant children's learning and progress, particularly in the core subjects of literacy, numeracy and phonics. They will be able to effectively cover a range of classes and consistently demonstrate high expectations for all. They will be positive at all times, caring and supportive of all children, with a proactive approach and a willingness to develop professionally. The successful applicants will have demonstrated the ability to support pupils with special educational needs and encourage them to participate fully in school life and stay safe.

Closing date for applicants for both posts: 9am on Friday 7th November 2025. Shortlisting will take place on Friday 7th November 2025 and candidates will be informed by telephone and email if they have been successful at this stage. Interviews will take place on Thursday 13th November 2025.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2024).
