Join Our Outstanding Team – Business Support Officer (Children\’s Services)
Darby House, Lawn Central, Telford

We have a full time permanent role and also a full time temporary post covering maternity leave.

Are you organised, tech-savvy, and ready to make a difference? We\’re looking for a Business Support Officer to join our fast-paced team supporting children and families across Telford and Wrekin.

The Business Support Officer will provide vital administrative and organisational support to frontline social care teams. Key aspects of the role include accurate record keeping, managing inboxes and workflows, supporting statutory and operational processes, minute taking, handling sensitive information appropriately, and ensuring tasks are completed within required timescales. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work confidently in a fast paced environment are essential.

What You\’ll Do:

  • Provide top-tier admin support to frontline teams in Children\’s Safeguarding and Family Support
  • Minute meetings, manage data, and handle sensitive information with confidence.
  • Collaborate with professionals across services and help drive continuous improvement.
