Overview

Lettings Assistant to support school lettings operations, ensuring that the site is opened, prepared, maintained and secured for hirers.

The postholder acts as a key holder, opening and closing the site as required, carrying out security checks and responding to alarms when required.

The postholder will be the point of contact for all hirers for the duration of the letting and will escalate enquiries to the Premises Officer as required.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the site as required and carry out security checks.
  • Respond to alarms when required and maintain the security of the premises.
  • Provide a welcoming presence for hirers and ensure premises are left as found.
  • Act as the point of contact for hirers during the letting and escalate enquiries to the Premises Officer as needed.
  • Work closely with the School Business Manager and the Premises Officer to support a safe and welcoming environment for hirers, pupils and staff.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Ability to communicate confidently with a diverse range of hirers.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
