Job Purpose The Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving the client pipeline for our Fortune 500 clients. This role involves managing a sales region or industry and executing various sales campaigns via phone and email to generate leads and accelerate a sales-ready pipeline. The person will build relationships with C-Suite Executives, Sales VPs, and Territory Managers, and assist in creating a territory plan to gather feedback on campaigns and customer trends to execute sales. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Develop and cultivate sales leads to strengthen outbound activity aligned with client goals. Collaborate with team members to develop a pipeline that supports lead generation and revenue goals within a metrics-driven environment. Educate, influence, and articulate the optimal sales solutions to clients to advance sales. Identify key decision-makers, maintain relationships, and build trust with stakeholders. Prepare and submit activity reports, pipeline forecasts, and conversion rates. Overcome sales objections tactfully. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technologically savvy. Professional demeanor. Strong desire to learn. Positive attitude and adaptability to change. Utilize rejection as a learning opportunity. Education and Experience Associate’s degree or higher; equivalent experience may be considered. 1-3 years of relevant client-facing experience. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Outbound calling experience preferred. CRM experience preferred. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Physical requirements include: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, or fingers. Ability to stand, walk, reach, kneel, bend, stoop, push/pull, and sit. Occasional lifting of 25 pounds. Effective communication with employees, vendors, and clients.
