We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Product Developer / Merchandiser to support the end-to-end product lifecycle across development, production, and inventory operations.
This is a hands-on role combining product development and merchandising operations. You will work closely with factories, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure products are developed efficiently, delivered on time, and managed effectively through the full supply chain. The ideal candidate understands both the creative and operational sides of the fashion industry and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Product Development
- Liaise directly with factories and suppliers throughout the development process
- Manage sample development, fit comments, and approvals
- Own and maintain product development workbooks and tracking documents
- Manage the critical path to ensure deadlines are met across all stages of production
- Support fabric, trim, and packaging development
- Negotiate and manage product costings with suppliers
- Ensure product specifications and technical information are accurate and updated
- Work closely with design and production teams to support seasonal launches
- Merchandising & Operations
- Manage stock control and inventory allocation across sales channels
- Create and maintain SKU codes, barcode systems, and product data
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with warehouse partners
- Liaise with warehouse and web teams to ensure accurate stock availability online
- Monitor stock levels and support replenishment planning
- Assist with product uploads, inventory accuracy, and launch readiness
- Help improve operational processes and reporting systems
- 2+ years experience in product development, merchandising, or apparel operations
- Strong understanding of garment production and supply chain processes
- Experience working directly with factories and suppliers
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple deadlines and critical paths simultaneously
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Experience with inventory management systems, Shopify, or ERP systems is beneficial
- Fashion, apparel, or streetwear industry experience preferred
