Temporary Part-Time: 3 days per week (2 days office/1 day home)

Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm

As a Temporary Part-Time Junior Fleet Sales Business Executive based in Dunton, Essex, you’ll be a part of creating and delivering amazing customer experiences, while also enjoying the satisfaction of being part of a unique culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • This is a target driven position which requires you to be a team player and have the initiative to work on your own.
  • High energy and the ability to work under pressure is a must; you will be a strong communicator, show resilience and have a passion for sales in a fast-moving business area.
  • To provide appointments for Business Managers (BMs), you will be able to research data and use the internet to seek out fleet opportunities by industry and sector, where you will support the growth of new business and be proactive in developing the Ford Database.
  • Following up on “cold” and “warm” leads creating appointments for Customer introductions and generating new sales opportunities for the BDMs in the field.
  • You will assist in supporting customer service to Ford’s Corporate Sales team, Business Managers (BMs), Key Account Managers (KAMs) and their associated fleet customers undertaking a variety of support tasks and assisting in Customer retention.
  • Operate as the first point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Maximise business opportunities by making outbound calls (to an agreed KPI) and emails to primary contacts.
  • Be responsible for maintaining our Microsoft Database Salesforce with every call and email and cleanse all records at first point of contact.
  • Support the team finding new business opportunities by researching for clients via Internet search engines.
  • Ensure maximum information is obtained on assigned calls to primary contacts.
  • Build a good rapport with your potential prospects.
  • Manage contacts effectively to optimise your lead generation and sales opportunities and manage these leads through the lifecycle process.
  • Maintain a list for all potential leads and follow up on an agreed basis.
  • Ensure that all written communications, i.e., email, letters and terms, are accurate and reflect your correspondence.
  • Attend all team meetings.
  • Analyse all generic inboxes and send to the relevant Fleet Business Centre Executive within 24 hours of receipt of email.
  • Attend internal & external meetings where applicable.
  • Achieve identified KPI’s set by your Line Manager.
  • Assist in providing office-based sales support and customer service for Corporate Sales Team, undertaking a variety of support tasks which contributes to the overall delivery of the Clients’ objectives.
  • Ensure the Team Manager is aware of any issues that could affect performance or have an impact on business objectives/targets.
  • Proactively identify and help implement any improvements to process or procedures.
  • Work closely with your team to resolve any ongoing queries.
  • Be aware of and adhere to ISO processes and procedures.
  • Ensure you are always GDPR compliant.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Entry level experience in telesales is preferred but not necessary.
  • Some administration experience would be an advantage.
  • Secondary qualifications or similar: GSCE, O Levels or N/SVQs Level 1 or 2.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages particularly Excel.
  • Drive and enthusiasm for achieving targets.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
  • Able to multi-task and manage expectations.
  • Excellent organisation & time management skills.
  • Ability to be flexible.
  • Able to demonstrate good self-motivation, strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure.
  • A dependable team player.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Occasional travel within the UK.
