Overview
Teleste is actively seeking an experienced telecoms field engineer I&C (transmission) to sit within the Transmission Design & Delivery team within the Strategic Business Unit. This is a rolling contract position. Our field engineers are required to undertake the installation and commissioning of new network elements, installation of cards, passive components and associated cabling, as well as the recovery of redundant equipment and liaison with our clients Network Operations departments. Deployment is on a national basis with this role aimed to be focused primarily in the North of England, however some travel may be required on an adhoc basis based on the individual project requirements and may require some out of hours shifts for migration activities.
The role holder will require BPSS / NPPV level 3 Security Clearance and Valid UK driving licence. Candidates must be able to be flexible on travel and work locations as the project is national.
