Job Summary / Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Recruitment Delivery Manager to lead and optimise high-volume recruitment delivery within our Public Sector operations. This role is central to ensuring recruitment excellence, managing a high-performing team, and collaborating with sourcing and operational leaders to deliver quality hires at scale. You will be responsible for driving strategy, reducing dropouts and early attrition, and engaging in high-level conversations that shape the future of our talent delivery within your sector of the business. A key part of the role is developing and growing our Social Value recruitment strategy, creating sustainable talent pipelines that deliver long-term value for both our clients and the communities we serve. This isn't just about filling vacancies; it's about creating sustainable recruitment solutions that make a real impact on communities while delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. The role requires you to be on site a minimum of three days per week in either our Gateshead or Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- People Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and coordinators to meet volume hiring targets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support career development.
- Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Own the end-to-end delivery of recruitment campaigns across multiple sites and functions.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing Manager, Director of Recruitment and operational partners/hiring managers to align candidate pipelines with business needs.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs and SLAs, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Social Value Recruiting
- Develop relationships with key strategic social value partners, expanding these across our key locations and, where appropriate, nationally.
- Use data and analytics in partnership with MI and the operational team to deliver targeted recruitment initiatives, cultivating accountability with partners to drive growth and long-term success.
- Create partnership agreements and lead monthly and quarterly reviews to evaluate performance, strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Build and scale talent pipelines through social value partnerships, community organisations, education providers and employment initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with operational leaders to forecast hiring needs and tailor recruitment strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor in workforce planning, talent trends and market insights.
- Lead high-level conversations with senior stakeholders to influence recruitment outcomes.
- Quality & Attrition Management
- Implement strategies to improve candidate experience, reduce dropout and minimise early 30, 60 and 90-day attrition.
- Analyse data to identify trends and root causes of attrition, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Ensure quality of hire through robust assessment and selection processes, delivering both the volume and quality required across campaigns.
