We are a global company with a strong footprint within the United Kingdom Business Processing outsourcing market (BPO). Due to our business expanding, there is a need to appoint a Risk Business Partner to support our business leaders. Reporting to the UK, Africa & Ireland Risk Assurance Manager, the Risk Business Partner will provide effective 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) oversight throughout all Lines of Business across multiple sites within our operation. The role holder will be based within our Gateshead, Manchester or Glasgow sites; however, occasional travel between all sites will be required. The Risk Business Partner will support in embedding the Enterprise Risk Management framework and provide ongoing continued support to ensure all risks and issues are captured, monitored and effective Risk mitigation treatment plans and controls are in place. The Risk Lead will occasionally deputize for the Risk Assurance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assurance audits.
- Identify, assess, control, track, and report on all risks and issues.
- Help business leaders develop and implement key controls and risk mitigation strategies.
- Support, educate, and guide the business on all elements of risk.
- Produce MI for governance.
- Assist with incident management.
- Attend client review meetings.
- Participate in external and internal audits.
Essential Skills:
- Audit/Compliance Monitoring or Risk Assurance testing experience.
- Be able to evidence a risk-based approach/mindset.
- Minimum of 2 years risk experience.
- Excellent English written and oral skills.
- Can build strong relationships whilst ensuring the integrity of the 2 LoD is not compromised.
- Analytical skills.
- Adaptable to fast paced changing environments.
Desirable but not essential skills:
- IRM qualification.
- Financial Crime experience.
- Incident Management experience.
