Job Description Technician Level 3 Job Description Level 3 Technician – Rail – SISS – North East region Reporting to the Team Leader the Level 3 Technician will carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance activities on SISS (Station Information and Security Systems) across our Train Operating Companies contracts. You will be covering mainly the North East region. SISS is essential to ensuring the travelling public are correctly informed and safe as they commute across our customer\’s rail networks, our maintenance service is critical to functioning of these systems What youll do: Daily reactive maintenance activities across SISS and Telephony systems (CCTV systems, IP Networks, Help Points, Screens, Public Address, CIS, PAVA and WiFi) Daily, weekly, monthly and annual planned maintenance activities as defined by the Team Leader Remote monitoring of all systems to identify issues and implement fixes; Testing and fault finding on equipment, systems and associated infrastructure cabling (copper / fibre) Undertaking of technical investigations and audits.
