What you’ll do:

  • Configure and replace datacentre equipment such as Cisco and Juniper firewalls, Cisco switches, Cisco and Dell server hosts while maintaining system operation.
  • Provide both on-site and on-call support for TPCMS with the ability to travel throughout the UK.
  • Proactively monitor the availability, performance, and security of TPCMS as part of a 24x7 team.
  • Address TPCMS issues by resolving them or assigning to internal staff (engineers) or external providers (such as suppliers of equipment) for resolution.
  • Engage proactively with all members of the System Management Team to support continuous improvement for TPCMS and the service provided to customers.
  • Ensure all Service Level Agreement targets are exceeded.
  • Support the transition of the TPCMS service to other parties by supporting the development and training needs of individuals.

  • Further education in IT / ICT.
