The Station Systems Level 3 Rail Maintenance Shift Engineer will be required to work 4 on 4 off shifts covering nights working at 4 sites across the HS1 (High Speed 1 rail Network) including St Pancras International, Stratford International, Ebbsfleet International and Singlewell Depot. Flexibility is required to support the 24/7 site operations during periods of other team members’ absence as well as additional works activities that are required to be undertaken outside of the normal shift requirements.
Station Systems Rail Maintenance Engineer, what you’ll do:
- Working as part of a team to carry out reactive and preventive maintenance activities on SISS and Telecommunications systems to ensure effective restoration / repair of customers assets within defined SLAs.
- Daily reactive maintenance activities across SISS and Telephony systems.
- Undertaking of technical investigations and audits.
- Undertake maintenance activities, both corrective and planned, to ensure effective restoration / repair of customer systems and ensure all associated processes and reporting requirements are followed.
- Remote monitoring of all systems to identify issues and implement fixes.
Who you are:
The Station Systems Level 3 Maintenance Engineer will carry out maintenance activities on communications systems which includes CCTV, PA, CIS, EACS, Servers and IP Networks and require the successful person to work 4 on 4 off night shifts.
Station Systems Rail Maintenance Engineer Key Requirements:
- Fault-finding skills and experience including the use of suitable test equipment.
- Previous experience of CCTV, IP Networks, EACS, CIS, PAVA Server Environments and copper/fibre.
- Proven IT skills (laptop, Office 365).
- Experience of working with SLA driven maintenance contracts.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
