Senior Design Engineer Traffic Signals We\’re looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement. What you’ll do: Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer Undertake on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision. Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings following approved procedures, including technical specifications. Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans. Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets. Ensure compliance with design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual. Conduct MOVA Validations of complex junctions and roundabouts. Who you are: The ideal candidate will have experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role and bring new perspectives to Traffic Signal Design solutions. Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer Key Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software. Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications. Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking. Knowledge of LinSig 3. Full UK Driving Licence.
