The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
This role is to assist the Telent Transport Asset Management business in achieving the greatest possible Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality and Assurance standards in accordance with UK legislation, UK Directives, Telent operational requirements and customer standards.
The QEHS Assistant will be mentored by the QEHS Manager to build their knowledge and experience by assisting operations with implementing processes in line with industry optimum practice and minimise the potential for injury and promote business efficiency by having robust QEHS management systems and an industry leading QEHS culture.
Key Deliverables- Take care of QEHS KPI Data and Reporting using the Microsoft Power Platform Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Maintain Planned QEHS Briefing using software such as Page Tiger
- Work with other Telent departments to further develop and improve KPI reporting
- Attend and play an active role at internal and external meetings
- Take and distribute minutes at QEHS meetings
- Develop QEHS knowledge, experience and skills
- Provide Support on the following areas:
- Portfolio of works for assigned contracts
- KPI Gap analysis
- Incident Investigations
- Campaigns and Workshops
- Production of QEHS Documentation
- 8D Route Cause Analysis Investigation
- Assist the QEHS Manager and wider team as required
- QEHS KPI Data Administration
- Monitoring and Reporting on QEHS Performance
- Promoting good practice relating to QEHS
- Supporting internal and external client relationships
- Understanding compliance with EHS legislation and industry best practice
- Assisting operational staff in QEHS as required
- Knowledge of effective implementation of QEHS policies and procedures
- Full knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Power Platform Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite

- Knowledge & awareness of QEHS systems
- An awareness of working within either the Rail, Metro or Road environments
