Location: Pirin Court
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer Mate will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of Fire Systems assets, mainly in the Trackside environment. The role involves working on a permanent night shift pattern from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. You will work both as part of a team and independently, ensuring safety at all times. The role requires frequent travel between stations, so a full driverβs license is essential.
Key Deliverables- Complete preventative maintenance tasks on fire systems nightly within the rail environment.
- Assist in delivering daily tasks in line with business expectations.
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently depending on the task.
- Maintain health and safety awareness and practices.
- Report progress regularly to the site person in charge.
- Utilize the ServiceNow platform to complete visit reports.
- Provide accurate site reports on completed activities to the site SPC or line manager.
- Complete maintenance tasks according to the defined schedule.
- Ensure maintenance is performed to the required standards and report any issues.
- Complete administrative tasks promptly.
- Comply with relevant QEHS requirements.
- Adhere to the Drug & Alcohol policy.
- Knowledge of system maintenance procedures related to Fire Systems within Rail.
- Previous experience with Fire Systems.
- Experience working within the LUL or Rail environment.
- Valid driving license.
- Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing due to trackside work.
