Management Accountant London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Collaborating within a fast-paced technology organization, this role works closely with the business and senior finance stakeholders to support the development of financial forecasts. It is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting and interpretation of financial results to support effective decision-making. The role also involves providing clear and concise analysis of actual and forecasted results for assigned projects, while assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to ensure financial targets are met. This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

  • Working in collaboration with the senior finance team providing clear and concise analysis as required to enable the business to make effective decisions.
  • Assist with the development of forecasts for the business area, measure & report on progress (across cash, P&L and balance sheet).
  • Preparation of accurate and meaningful historic analysis by project (month end results, KPI’s, comparison of actuals to forecasts/budget across Cash, P&L and BS).
  • Management of 2 direct reports.
  • Ensure area reviews conducted for projects within your responsibility – working with the operations team to ensure contracts accurately reported, assisting with the scrutinising of financial results, and challenging the business.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified.
  • Previous experience of working in a business facing finance role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Use of Oracle, SAP or other large ERP system.
