As the Project Coordinator within the Wireless Design team, you’ll play a key role that’ll support project delivery across various Wireless Telecoms programmes and work schedules. You’ll coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and our client, ensuring smooth project progress and provide up-to-date records. The successful candidate will be based in our Gillingham office, ME8 0NZ, 4 days and work from home on Fridays.
What you’ll do:
- Instructing subcontractors and following up on actions
- Arranging surveys and access requests
- Uploading documents to internal and client systems and databases
- Using Remedy to raise REQ numbers
- Keeping internal and client systems updated
- General project administration and data entry
- Managing supplier relationships
- Providing support to Design, Project Managers, and the wider team
- Coordinating engineer site access and project meetings
- Handling queries and escalating as needed
- Preparing and updating project documentation
- Raising purchase orders
Who you are:
An ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, able to work under their own initiative and have previous experience working as a Project Coordinator or Administrator ideally in a telecoms or wireless environment.
Key Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills, proactivity, and attention to detail
- Ability to ask questions and liaise confidently with suppliers and our customers
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator or Administrator (Telecoms/Wireless preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new systems
- Confident scheduling and diary management (Outlook or similar)
- Experience with raising purchase orders
