We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced wireless telecom environment. As an APM, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a large portfolio of telecommunications sites. Working in collaboration with a dedicated team of designers, engineers, and other project stakeholders, you will support the management of end-to-end site delivery, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
You will be involved in planning, coordinating, and tracking various tasks while maintaining clear communication with all team members, stakeholders, and clients. Additionally, you will provide support to the Design Manager, assisting with day-to-day reports and ensuring that the necessary data is prepared for meetings with clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of a large portfolio of telecom sites from initiation to closeout.
- Support the Design Manager in developing and managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with the design team, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of site design packages.
- Track the progress of design, design dependency, and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Work closely with a team of designers to ensure that site designs meet client requirements and comply with industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve project issues and ensure smooth site deployment.
- Assist in the identification and mitigation of project risks or delays, working proactively to minimize their impact on the timeline.
- Maintain detailed records of project activities, including site designs, construction status, and financial expenditures ensuring both internal and external databases are kept updated daily.
- Assist the Design Manager with preparing day-to-day project reports, including design and construction updates.
- Support in the preparation of data and reports for client meetings, ensuring accurate and timely information is shared.
- Prepare and update project documentation, such as status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant project communications.
- Ensure that site designs and construction meet quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Assist in conducting site inspections to ensure designs are being implemented correctly and construction is progressing as planned.
- Assist in managing relationships with clients, ensuring that project goals and expectations are understood and met.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders, such as local authorities and vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support in meetings and discussions with clients by providing relevant data, reports, and updates as needed.
- Assist the Design Manager in preparing reports, managing design schedules, and tracking progress.
- Provide support by gathering data and helping to create client-facing presentations.
- Help organize and maintain design-related project documentation, ensuring all information is readily available for client discussions.
