Telent is seeking a SCIDA Site Engineer to support the assurance, compliance and governance of ICT and Networks installations within RAF and MOD environments.
This role sits within the SCIDA (Site Coordinating Installation Design Authority) function - a mandated MOD assurance role responsible for ensuring that ICT systems are designed, installed and maintained in line with Defence policy, engineering standards and security requirements.
We are open to experienced SCIDA Engineers as well as Defence, Telecoms or regulated-sector Engineers who have worked in compliance-led or assurance environments, and are ready to step into a formal SCIDA role with full training and support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the engineering and compliance focal point for allocated RAF / MOD sites
- Deliver SCIDA services in line with JSP 453, Air SCIDA Engineering Instructions and related Defence standards
- Review designs, installations and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to identify risks and non-compliance
- Conduct site inspections, post-installation reviews and audits
