The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking for a Traffic Signals Configuration Engineer to join us here at Telent within our Traffic Division. You can work mainly from home but be happy to attend meetings within our Warwick office as and when required. You will be working in a part of Telent that is dedicated to maintaining UK wide Traffic Signals.
Key Deliverables
- Preparing configuration of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings
- Working closely with customers, designers and project managers
- Be able to utilise controller configuration and simulator software
- Undertake/support FAT testing
- Advice to design services on controller facilities
- Support to commissioning/maintenance engineers
Required Experience
- Strong background in Traffic Signals, ideally configuration.
- Good knowledge of traffic principles
- Traffic Signals - complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings
- Configuration and Simulator experience
- Experience of other manufacturers traffic signal controllers - desirable
- FAT Testing
- Used to working as part of a team - designers, engineers, stakeholders
- Able to interpret specifications for traffic signal controllers
- Good MS Office experience
