What you will do:

  • Own cloud solution architecture across pre-sales, from options papers through to final designs and governance approval
  • Produce high-quality architecture documentation, diagrams, compliance responses and supporting artefacts
  • Develop costed cloud designs, estimates and bills of materials, with a strong appreciation of financial and operational impact
  • Present proposed solutions clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ensure security-by-design principles are embedded across identity, networking, data protection, monitoring and resilience
  • Collaborate with Sales, Bid, Product, Delivery and Operations teams to ensure smooth handover into delivery and support
  • Engage with strategic cloud partners and vendors to enhance and evolve Telent's cloud offerings
  • Create and maintain reusable cloud architecture patterns, reference designs and landing zone frameworks

Who you are:

  • Expert-level Azure/ MS Azure architecture experience, including relevant Azure / Cloud certifications
  • Proven experience and track record of architecting Cloud solutions within an MSP, SI (systems integrator) or enterprise pre-sales environment
  • Strong understanding of Cloud fundamentals across compute, storage, networks, identity, security, data and observability
  • Demonstrable experience designing solutions for highly secure environments (e.g. government, MOD, policing, emergency services)
  • Security-by-design mindset, covering identity & access management, encryption, network segmentation, logging and resilience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear value-led narratives
  • Must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC), NPPV3 and DV Clearance (Telent will sponsor the successful candidate to obtain necessary clearances), including meeting minimum UK residency requirements
