What you\\\βll do
As a Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with one of our experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, fix, maintain, and test a range of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lights and electrical equipment that is associated with this, in the Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Who you are
You will naturally have an interest in troubleshooting, fixing, testing and maintaining Electrical equipment, and already have some exposure to anything electrical β whether that\\\βs working with outdoor lighting, CCTV\\\βs, controllers, detection boxes, telecommunications / radio equipment etc, or you\\\βve had some experience via a College related course / Diploma.
Key Requirements
- Motivation and willingness to learn on the job and via online learning
- Previous experience of Electrical testing, maintenance, fixing or installing, or a holder of an Electrical course / diploma or similar
- Ability to problem solve and providing ideas β ultimately the job requires you to think outside the box, and working through \βfault finding instructions\β
- Full UK Driving Licence holder
- Able to and willing to undertake a Drugs & Alcohol test to ensure compliancy
