Responsibilities
- Lead and produce the monthly management accounts for Tech 21 to include the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
- Preparation of all monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure that the accounting records are properly reconciled.
- Maintain controls across P&L, Balance Sheet and Financial Processes.
- Oversee all intercompany recharges for Tech 21 and ROW including salaries and overhead re-apportionment.
- Monthly Sales and COS review, working closely with US counterparts to understand the numbers.
- Review monthly cost trackers for all department leads.
- Detailed Inventory accounting including valuation movements, provisions and reconciliations.
- Assist in Budget and Reforecast Process.
- Cash flow management by ensuring payments are processed on a timely basis and preparation of cash flow forecast.
- Monthly processing of the payroll journal.
- Completion of monthly UK VAT returns on a timely and accurate basis.
- Oversee all Tax obligations in UK and ROW for VAT, PAYE, Customs and Excise and Corporation tax.
- Support the year end audit process to provide relevant support and documentation.
- Assisting in consolidation by reconciling intercompany balances.
- Assisting the Financial Controller on ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Part Qualified professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
- IT literate, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Flexibility to work to tight and unexpected deadlines.
- Organisation and prioritisation essential to ensure key deliverables and deadlines are met.
- Accuracy and showing attention to detail.
- Ability to be proactive in order to improve processes.
- Passionate and enthusiastic team player.
