Telemachus is a weird and very ambitious company. It makes a machine that makes companies. The large majority of the world’s companies have not been remade in light of A(G)I. Telemachus does not sell them software or buy them PE style. Rather, in a remarkably efficient and AI-native way, it recreates them from scratch, as they should be. The company has gone from 0 to >$10m annualised revenue in 11 months and raised various millions from VCs along the way. We have a very small team and will not compromise on increasing our talent density.
About the Role
We need someone to help us make our machine for making companies. You will do the large array of software engineering tasks to help make this machine into what it should be. This is a role with a broad remit in a very rapidly‑changing company. You will:
- Interface with the rest of the company to work out how systems should be built
- Make scalable systems which can handle tens (for now) of millions in revenue
- Have ownership over said systems and their outcomes
Skills and Requirements
At Telemachus we heavily value intellect, drive and earnestness over particular experience. However, this is a technical role and experience designing, making and managing systems particularly for AI‑native problems is very much appreciated.
Details
We are based in London (near Bank) and this role is fully in‑person (and the team works reasonably long hours). We pay very well. Often with packages like £75k base + £75k on‑track cash bonuses + substantial equity. We have other benefits like free Deliveroo, private healthcare and expensing most things which would increase your productivity (like MacBooks).

Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned.
