About the Role
Teleios Recruitment is looking for an experienced Saw Operative to join a leading global engineering and manufacturing business based in Sheffield. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate saw machinery to cut metal stock to precise specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and written cutting instructions.
- Carry out first-off checks and maintain consistent quality throughout production.
- Handle materials safely, including movement, labelling, and traceability documentation.
- Complete machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Follow all site health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support effective shift handovers and communication with team members.
Requirements / Person Specification
- Proven experience as a Saw Operative or in a similar metal manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings or cutting lists.
