Job Title: Laboratory Administrator Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join a leading manufacturing business. You’ll become part of a supportive and friendly team, ensuring the accurate processing, reporting, and management of results for both internal and external laboratory samples. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a keen interest in working within a laboratory environment. About You – Laboratory Administrator * Proven experience in data inputting with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail * Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word * Confident, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative * Comfortable working to strict deadlines in a busy, hands-on office environment Key Responsibilities * Accurate registration and labelling of all customer samples * Generation of relevant worksheets for laboratory processes * Inputting of analytical results into the system * Raising external orders for third-party analysis * Checking and reconciling invoices against purchase orders * Handling customer queries professionally via telephone * Monitoring printed quality order sheets for missing results * Keeping total volume tables up to date as required Why apply?
