We are recruiting for a Dispatch Operative to join a busy organic food production operation in Oakamoor.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in dispatch, warehousing, loading/unloading or a loading bay environment who is looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role.

The Role

Working within the loading and unloading bay, you'll play an important part in making sure inbound and outbound deliveries are handled safely, accurately and efficiently. Your duties will include:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Checking deliveries against paperwork
  • Preparing and dispatching customer orders
  • Moving stock between production, storage and dispatch areas
  • Keeping the loading bay clean, organised and safe
  • Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Supporting stock control and rotation when required

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in warehouse, dispatch, loading or unloading work
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Reliable and hardworking
  • Accurate and attentive to detail
  • Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
  • A good team player

Forklift experience/licence would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a Monday-to-Friday position with an early finish, offering a great opportunity to join an established and friendly team within a specialist organic food business. Start as soon as possible.
