JOB OVERVIEW

M&E Supervisor supports the Senior Buildings manager in the coordination and delivery of core buildings related services for staff and clients. A successful M&E Supervisor will ensure that the works that are being carried out by the client/contractor are to the specified standard, as well as report on maintenance performance and condition of building services.

Key tasks:

  • To assist in the development and execution of Operations engineering works
  • Responsible for supervising small works installation and building maintenance works
  • Responsible for reviewing risk assessments and method statements
  • To provide technical operations information and support to all external parties in the preparation of works
  • To assist in ensuring that maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements
  • To support the commissioning, organising and assessing the work of contractors
  • Close working with the 3rd party DCFMS supplier on maintenance works, reactive works and capital projects
  • Close working with the internal engineering and project teams to ensure synchronicity and seamless handovers
  • To ensure that all O&M data is correctly recorded, filed and kept up to date

Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineering background (desired)
  • Previous experience of working in and within ISO regulated processes and procedures (desired)
  • Experience of statutory compliance (desired)
  • HVAC experience critical
  • BMS experience critical
  • Formal qualification(s) in related engineering subjects
  • Knowledge of project management processes
  • Well-organised team player
  • Customer-focused with a high degree of integrity
